The two different versions
Tesla's Model 3 has existed since 2016 and has been in production since 2017. However, a revised version of the vehicle has been available since 2021. The two versions differ in several respects, and we'll explain them below.
Essentially, it's the same vehicle. However, a few adjustments have been made.
- The door handles and window frames in the first Model 3 were made of chrome, in the new version they are black.
- In addition, the center console in the interior is now made of matte black plastic, on which fingerprints are no longer visible.
- The latest version of the center console also features an inductive charging mat on which two smartphones can be charged.
- Another notable change is the heat pump that has been installed in the Tesla Model 3 since 2021.
- The range and acceleration have also been slightly improved.
There are many other small things that have been improved in the Tesla Model 3 facelift compared to previous models.
